St Leonards is the second restaurant from Jackson Boxer and Andrew Clarke, following on from the success of their Brunswick House venture.
The restaurant is centred around a raw bar and a long-fired hearth. The site also takes inspiration from the street, on which stands St Leonard’s Church, and its French namesake, Saint Leonard of Noblac, who became a hermit in the forests of western France.
We were briefed to create visual identity for the branding whose calligraphic style should embody an elegant simplicity and pay homage to the name’s historical origins.
