Chris-Craft is a truly American story. Born in 1874, it came of age at a time that defined the notion of American ingenuity. While Henry Ford was creating the first motorcars, his watercraft counterpart, Chris Smith, was developing the very first engine-propelled boats and skiffs. Throughout its rich history, a reputation for quality and style have made it the favourite of presidents, celebrities and icons of American affluence - names like Roosevelt, Kennedy, Vanderbilt, Morgan, Ford, Sinatra, and Hepburn.
Our work with Chris-Craft dates back to 2001 following its acquisition by Stellican.
The brief was simple, to help reposition Chris-Craft as a premium quality boatbuilder, recapturing the brand's quintessential style and reputation for exquisite craftsmanship and technical excellence.
Our ongoing work has focused on the creation of brand identity guidelines for product manuals, brochures, exhibitions, dealer branding, press advertising and websites.
